Special Educational Needs (SEN/SEND)

Animators develop a range of multi-sensory skills when creating stop motion videos. Everyone in the group can take on a role that suits their abilities such as model maker, storyteller or director.
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

Creating animated movies encourages a wide range of activities that support the development of social and emotional skills, including responsible decision making, self-management and social awareness.
Family fun for all ages

Create a family memory forever by making videos together for friends and relatives. The kit is so easy and fun to use that everyone will want to get involved (grown-ups included).
Balanced play

Animation promotes a healthy, non-competitive use of technology, inspiring children to step away from their screens to make models and write stories with their friends and siblings.
A new lease of life for old toys

Bring old favourites to life! The magic of stop motion means that toy cars can drive around the room, dinosaurs can explore a garden, LEGO models can build themselves and teddy bears can have picnics.

Which animation software is included in the kit?

A perpetual single-user licence of Stop Motion Studio for HUE, which requires Windows 10 or later, or macOS 11+. Alternative software is available for older computers (see the system requirements for a full list of supported operating systems).
How do I activate the software license?

Register the code from the back of the animation book on the manufacturerâs website to claim your license and download the software. Full instructions can be found in the box and if needed, detailed tutorials and videos are available on the website.
How do I focus the camera?

Turn the focus wheel around the camera's lens until the image is pin-sharp. The camera's manual focus gives you complete control at all times.
